His job is about seeing. And about moments. To catch what might only be there for a fraction of a second. What might just as well be lost if his focus is not right there, right then. An emotion that becomes visible, a personality that comes to life or a perfect light. No matter if it is about advertising, fashion or travel. And no matter if the assignment is to take a studio portrait in Stockholm or to capture the swarming crowds of an alley in Calcutta. During his almost 15 years as a photographer, his camera has taught him to continuously sharpen his senses – as it sometimes sees things that his eyes and brains don’t have time to register. He says that it also constantly helps him to new insights into both the human nature and different cultures. He was raised in the small village of Skene, outside Borås in central Sweden, where he started his career at the local newspaper, Borås Tidning. Today he is based in Stockholm - but often his assignments take him to new destinations and new insights all over the world.
